Role and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibility as a business controller is to support the business with focused analysis and reports of financial data and business information.

Besides that your responsibilities are the following:

• Validation of financial data.
• Contact with retailers.
• Support the business controller with preparation of budgets.
• Validation of invoices.
• Matching evidence loads with data provided by retailers and Samsung data.

Your skills and qualifications

The ideal business controller recognize themselves in the following profile:

• You have good knowledge of Excel. Required skills are: working with large data files, pivot tables, applying filters, constructing charts, searching vertically and preferably being able to build dashboards for senior management.
• You have a very good command of the English and Dutch languages.
• You have a positive critical attitude and be able to ask/understand the question behind the question.
• You are solution oriented and thinks beyond your own set of tasks.
• You are entrepreneurial, you like to take initiative and you have a strong position.
• You are driven to achieve your goals and company targets.
• You can work together in a team.

Preferred qualifications

As a business controller you have the following qualification(s):

• You have a bachelor or university background/diploma in either finance, business administration or certainly another direction.
• You are 32 to 40 hours available.
• You are innovative (we move fast and take big risks).
• You are passionate (we reveal in what we do).
• You are collaborative (we recognize that we are all in this together).
