We're Hiring: Senior Accounting Officer – Global Entity Management (Amsterdam)

Are you a seasoned accounting professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic, international environment? TMF Group is looking for a Senior Accounting Officer to join our Global Entity Management team in Amsterdam. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for financial, accounting, and tax matters for our high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial contact for high-risk and high-demand clients.
• Collaborate closely with Legal Officers and supervise medior and junior team members.
• Deliver tailored financial and administrative support, including:
  • Preparing (consolidated) financial statements and reports.
  • Managing computerized administrations and financial databases.
  • Handling tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clients, advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Act as a coach and mentor within your team, promoting operational excellence.
• Support process optimization and act as a backup to the Supervisor Accounting.

Key Requirements

• A financial-administrative degree (e.g., ACCA, CPA, HEAO AA/BE) or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS (experience with US GAAP is a plus).
• Proficiency in SAP, CaseWare, and Dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A proactive, client-focused mindset with a passion for compliance and quality.
